Dear Member

We are very close to getting back to ‘Normal’. Please be patient while we work through this. In the meantime we have a few rules around moving to Level 2:

If you are not feeling well please stay away.

The Bar will remain CLOSED till Friday May 22 because of restrictions put in place.

Tuesday to Friday Competitions can resume but at this stage the MEN can decide if they want to exchange money. The Ladies have organized themselves.

You will need to print your card . Do NOT exchange the card with your marker. Write your markers golf ID in the markers signature area. These cards can now be handicapped.

This Saturday is a trial so no competition fee will be charged.

You will need to book in using the DotGolf system. We are asking the women to tee off between 10.30 and 11 and for this week can only the women who work play on Saturday - so that we can sort out the timings with the booking system. Make up your own 4 or join up with others. Please be ready to go at your booked time and tee off promptly.

It is the Committee's intention to continue to use the booking system on a Saturday.

Please maintain social distancing everywhere.

Motorized carts may now be used under Level 2. Please leave doors open to Buggy and Cart sheds. These doors and keypad should be sanitized before and after touching.

Please bring your own sanitizer and sanitize your hands and any surface you touch.

The flagstick must remain in the hole. Todd has fitted sponge to the bottom of flagsticks so the ball will not go to the bottom of the cup.

Please check the whiteboard for Local Rules .

The front door to Clubhouse will be locked. Please enter through changing rooms and wash hands and sanitize before entering Clubhouse.

Cards can be put in usual tub for handicapping - this will be done with gloves

There could be some more changes to these guidelines as we ease back into Programmed Competition golf.

Saturday Men's competition will recommence on 23 May. This will be a stroke round and will count as the 3rd qualifying round for the XCM Sport/Timaru Motors shootout.

For our casual golfers you will need to play your golf away from competition times but if you want to change membership category just send an email and we can get this sorted for you
